We made a trip to Costco yesterday for produce so I just needed a few things from Safeway. I had several items from the Sunday ad that I planed to pick up and they no longer carry the supplements in my store! So I tossed the coupons and now I can’t get them back. Grr!
Safeway: $10.94
Deli Fresh Lunch Meat .99 (clearance- it doesn’t expire until 12/15- love the clearance section!)
Lipton Onion Seasonings x2 $1.33 each- used .60/2 coupon
(3) 2L 7-Up products .33 each
(2) I Can’t Believe Its Not Butter $1.99 each- used $1/1 coupons
Coffeemate $1.99 w/ in ad coupon- used (2) $1/1 coupons
Grapes $4.55
I also used a $2 catalina and got another back for the I Can’t Believe Its Not Butter

(2) Tubs Up and Up wipes .55 each after coupon
Betty Crocker Potatoes x 2 .79 each- used .40/1 coupons
Cream Cheese x 3 $1.19 each- used $1/3 coupon
I was just reading the Britax Carseat giveaway and it Said Kelli E. is the winner. I was wondering if that was me, I did enter 5 times :)! If so I was wondering how to claim my prize! Thanks, Kelli Edson
Kelli what a mean tease- no sorry I already got in touch with her. I can’t recall the last name but she was in California. I will start putting the first part of the email from now on so people don’t get excited over nothing. Sorry girl!
Great Shopping trip, always love seeing the pics and what you get, it’s encouraging! I hit CVS tonight and got 3 of the Nivea lip balms, the Big Bottle of Nivea lotion, duracel batteries, and I did the covergirl deal, spent 19 something and got back $11 ECB’s, not bad but not as good as you, lol. Still good for all of that though, I think, haha.
DARN! I thought I was off the hook for car seat shopping…oh well. thanks for getting back to me!
I have the Up & Up coupons for the baby wipes, but they say ‘limit one offer per transaction.’ Did you make two separate purchases to get the 2 tubs of wipes or did they let you use 2 coupsons?
Jenny, My store has never limited the coupons but I wouldn’t have tried with more than 2 tubs considering the new policies. You can always go through the line and then go back through- I’d rather take a few extra minutes than have any problems.
I went through this with a Target cashier and her manager. The manager had to explain to the cashier that “one offer per transaction” means there must be one coupon per item purchased. So if you have 2 items you need 2 coupons. This is in contrast to other stores like Walgreens where one coupon will deduct an amount for several items.
It’s confusing because we typically think of a “transaction” as being a basketful of stuff, but it’s used differently in this situation.
