WOW!! It looks like a fantastic deal is now even better!! I posted earlier about the sale on Leap frog on Amazon- there is supposed to be a $10 off code for Violet or My Pal Scout. Now Violet is currently $15 and Scout is $17.69- so $5 or $7.69! That is a GREAT price. Amazon changed this to 20% off rather than $10 off. For those that got in on this deal- I believe you will also qualify for the toy rebate to make a great deal even better!! Check your emails as you should get something from Amazon about this!
I placed my order and the code ( LPLFT900 ) only took $3 off for Violet- but two readers have already emailed Amazon and received a credit. Which makes her just $5!! I just bought this toy and it is darling. I ordered another one to have for birthday gifts and will update as soon as I hear from Amazon. I would JUMP on this deal and then make sure you email them to get the credit of $7 back!

If you have Amazon Prime- which I posted about a few weeks ago (no longer available)- this is really outstanding as shipping is free. And yes you can get Scout for $9.99 after coupon at Target for a little while longer but if you don’t want to fool with coupons or make a trip to Target this is the best price I have ever seen.
Target has violet for $15 and Scout for $14.99. Their toy coupon book has a 5 dollar off coupon which means scout is 9.99 and violet is 10.
I think the code LPLEF900 is for only Scout. I found that the amount of discount was 10 dollars when I applied the code to Scout.
Correct for about 1 more week and then the price is back to $18.99. Paying $5 for Violet is an absolute steal. Scout is a great deal too and you can have it shipped right to your door.
Jane- they probably fixed it. I tried it awhile ago and it took $4 off for Scout. According to the link on Amazon the $10 applies to both items. I am thinking they will raise the price of Violet to $19.99.
I just tried and all I got off was $3 for Violet and $4 for Scout. I don’t know if I want to go through the hassle of e-mailing them.

I just got two of violet about an hour ago. I called amazon and they fixed the price when I checked out! Two for 10!!!
By the way, I signed up for the free 30-day Amazon Prime trial and got free shipping, so Violet was $5 shipped.
I called Amazon and they put a $10 credit to my account since the code is not working. It was super easy, I got the free amazon prime too recently and used a swagbuck gc..she was free!

I signed up for Amazon Prime and LOVE IT!!! Did you know you can share your prime membership with immediate family? I split the cost with my sister and mom… soooo worth it!!! I bought Violet for $12 and sent an email to Amazon, took all of 5 minutes. I got an email back in less than an hour adjusting my order so my total was $5!! Wahoo… what a steal! 🙂

Jaime the blurb you just posted says they are still $10 off. The fridge toys were always 20% and that is why the $10 wasn’t crediting properly- the code is the same so it was only taking 20% off.

i called amazon & the guy only updated my kart for $10 off 1, even though i had two in my kart. i tried explaining to him they should be around $5 each & had such a hassle. i hung up on the guy….very frustrating…

i just talked to another amazon person over the phone & they said their staff has verified the coupon code saying it’s only suppose to be $10 off for the whole order, no matter how many you buy. So if you buy 2 you get $10 off only, you dont get $10 off each one. I told them others have been getting $10 off each one, and they acted like they didn’t know anything. They kept saying that the code is $10 off 1 or if you buy 2 you still just get $10 off. So i have no idea why i’m not getting the same deal as others. this is not a fair deal so i’am passing it up. I dont ever use amazon & its been a while since i shopped on their site & now i know why. Everytime i call i get someone who is frustrating to talk too, why do they put these ppl. on the phone lines? everytime no matter what company i call. The phone company, the cable, everytime….geeeshhh…what a headache….
