This week I have a guest vlog from my friend Ashley at Frugal Coupon Living.com. I really hope you can take the time to watch this vlog because she has so many great ideas! She is talking about the great free items she has ordered from Vistaprint in the past. Many of these would make nice gifts for friends and family (or yourself!) and more importantly they are all custom. So it looks like you spent some time and really thought about the gift. I just love the idea of getting separate thank you notes just from our girls. Genius!
Now these items are all free except you will have to pay a small shipping charge. I totally agree with Ashley though that even with the charge it is still less than you will find these products for retail. Here are the resources for all the items she mentions:
Free Mailing Labels are HERE -this ends today!
Free Business Cards are HERE (250 total)and this is how she made the little gift tags. Such a GREAT idea! (Make sure you select all designs to see the millions of styles they offer)
The Free magnet offer is HERE (love this idea too!)
Free Postcards are HERE– I believe this ends today as well
*If you upload a photo for the magnets there is a $4.99 charge but you get 25 of them!
I believe the offers change all the time. I am not sure if the folded note cards are available but I plan to take a little time today to order many of the items she mentions and I will let you know what I find!
Also, please leave your great finds in the comments! I’d love to hear what ideas you guys have!
PPS: I am thinking of ordering some little business cards and keeping them fairly plain. Then my toddler can decorate them herself. I think she might get a kick out of that.
I’ve been using VistaPrint for years and I have gotten all sorts of fun stationary and custom notepads. The best deal I got was my wedding invitations. I customized the colors to match my wedding theme and worded the invite based on advice from a magazine. To make them a bit more wedding-ish I covered each invitation vellum paper and tied it on with a matching ribbon. I spent less than $50 on 100 wedding invitations that would have cost hundreds of dollars if I had purchased “actual” wedding invitations.
I’m a little confused on the mailing labels. I was trying to order some today (Wednesday) and they aren’t coming up free for me. It says they are $7.99 + shipping. Am I missing something?
I figured it out. I clicked on the link you provided and I was able to get the free labels. Thanks!
Wow! Great idea!
Hey – a little tip I discovered using the VistaPrint site. On the free items, as long as you only have one of each type item (one sticky note, one notepad, one notecard set, one mousepad, etc.) they are all free. So you order, pay and close out. Then go back into the site and do it all again… they are all free again and you can either order the same design as before or create a new design, just be sure you order only one of each thing each time. I did 6 purchases to get all that I wanted, and only paid shipping!
They charged me 4.99 for uploading a photo, plus shipping. Is this correct?
Nicole which item are you ordering?
Great tip Ashley! Did you use all the same info each time? Email and all that?
I plan on including the magnets as Christmas cards! Our photographer is taking their pictures and making customized cards (she’s a family friend and we great an incredible deal). But this year I’ll be including a magnet with just a picture of the boys that our relatives can leave up on their fridge year round. Thanks for posting this great deal!
I just ordered the post cards and am using them for bridal shower invites for my girl friend and then i got a thing of sticky notes and a rubber stamp with my address on it for free as well..i paid $12.10 for shipping on all of it 🙂 I wanted it standard.
I always use Vista Print, and I love them! Some of the favorite things I’ve gotten from them are notepads that I customized w/my name, phone & email address. I use them to send teacher notes to school, and that way the teacher has my contact info right at hand. I also make postcards that say “Thank You” on them w/a pretty design. It’s an easy way to jot a quick thank you note and pop it in the mail for less than the cost of a regular stamp. One tip, I always choose the cheapest shipping item, and it’s never taken more than a few days to get my items!
I just ordered some postcards. We designed our own and uploaded it. We did Christmas cards. They also let you print on the back so we even typed a little “newsletter” up. Uploading the picture did cost but for $11 we are getting 100 nice printed Christmas cards with a newsletter update and return address already printed and the shipping to our house. Plus postcard stamps are cheaper.
I love Vistaprint! I always get my address labels from them. Also I got a free banner for the scarf’s that I sell in a boutique in town. I also get the Business Cards and hole punch them for tags on my scarf’s with the price on them. So the person that purchases my scarf remembers where they bought and who they bought it from in case they want to call me and make a personal purchase too. Vista Print is an awesome business tool!
Yes – I used the same account. Had thought I would create one for the hubby and get two sets free, when I noticed I could simply log back into my account, add more items (same already ordered, or new) and they were free too!
The magnets, thank you.
Sorry, missed the point about the 4.99. Thank you!!
Hmmm…the video isn’t here.
i enjoy attending bridal showers coz there are lots of pretty ladies and it is enjoyable too*`;
