Does Wal-mart give overage or do they mark down the value of the coupon? Can I print out their coupon policy somewhere? Also-I got a manufacturer coupon that printed out at Walgreens for $6 airweck-it doesn't say RR-it says manufacturer coupon-can I use that there-thanks!

Do you know what zip code to use to get the S&W bean coupon? I'm not seeing it come up for me. Thanks!

    Anon,

Basically Walmart seems to make up policies as it goes because I have had written policies in hand and had a manager still refuse to abide by them. You can try to use that Airwick and they should accept it. They apparently take competitors coupons and I was told in a letter from corporate any coupon- like a $5/20 CVS coupon was accepted. My store, however, only takes ones that say manufacturer coupon. I just used a register reward for the first time at my store.

So the long and short of it is you might go to customer service if you have problems and ask for a manager.

Hi…just started reading your blog recently and it one of my faves.

    I have a question:
I have had trouble with them not scanning all my printable coupons. It happened again the other day and of course it was a 2 dollar coupon and a 1.60 coupon that were missed. I don't know if they stuck together or what. Is there any recourse or do you have any tips to prevent the printed ones from sticking together. I thought of slightly crumpling them but have enough trouble with them not accepting coupons as it is. Many thanks.

Oh that makes me so irritated! I just had that happen too and I know better. Even a good cashier can easily miss a coupon or two- so it is best to get in the habit of handing them one at a time. I am as fast as the cashier with this and rarely have problems. I had a cashier snatch them all once but otherwise I just hand them one by one and then I know they scanned. I watch the screen too and double check that it keeps going down. If I am not too scattered that day I will actually do a quick count of them while I am in line and then do a quick count once I am leaving the store.

You can call the store and complain or you can return the items and explain why.

I never have luck at this store.
I am happy the glade stuff was in stock however there was no Wanchai. I had issues with the coupons also. I knew the coupon was higher value than the candles. I didn't say anything and let her and her supervisor spend 15mins trying to void the sale. I was hoping they would give up but they didn't.

I am annoyed it took them 15mins to void the transaction. It wasn't b/c they adjusted the coupon. I hate how most stuff is never in stock. I saw shelves and shelves empty. The Halloween stuff was scattered.

Thanks for your reply Charlene. I had my trip all mapped out and written down and of course got derailed when they were out of stock on a lot of things like Anon said and I made substitutions to my original list or I might have been more on the ball and watching her. They had the Wanchai in stock but there were no sale signs at all and they were marked $6. I am one who likes to whip in and out with no conflict. I tell ya…couponing isn't for the meek I am finding. Next time I will be more vigilant. Many thanks.

I'm new to couponing & had a question about printable coupons. Can you typically find the same coupon in the newspaper ads? I noticed several of the ones I'd printed were in the paper also. I'm concerned about spending more on printer ink that I'm saving. Also, are there any tricks to printing them without the full page age that accompanies the coupon? (I can only get comments to post if I choose anonymous…what am I doing wrong?) Thanks! CJ

I always print mine in grayscale which helps a little. You can find some in the inserts but usually the printables are higher value. Plus you get more. You can push stop on your printer right after the coupon prints to avoid the entire that sometimes also shows up.

I am pretty sure that the Healthy Choice has been reset. I printed 2 of the frozen meal Qs before and was able to print 2 more today.
