Real Simple Magazine: Target Coupon & Rebate!

10/09/2009

Yeah! I just got my Real Simple magazine and that $5 investment is really paying off! I was hoping for another Target coupon and this month they have one for $1 off any Glade Air Care Product. Remember the $3.50 coupons I told you about HERE? Well stack that with the Target coupon and you can get a diffuser or large Glade Fragrance Collection candle for free! (They are priced at $4.50 right now). Not to mention this goes toward the $5 SC Johnson rebate!
.
They also have a $5 rebate from Real Simple. Spend $15 in participating products from 10/12-11/15 and get a $5 rebate from Real Simple! It says while supplies last so I wouldn’t hold on to your receipts. Participating items are:
.
Eucerin Body Wash
Fruit2Day
Head and Shoulders
Honeybaked Ham
International Delight
Jergens Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer
Nestle Toll House items
M&Ms Premium Chocolate
Quilted Northern TP Ultra Plush
Truvia
Uncle Bens Rice
General Foods International Lattes
.
Since 6pks of Quilted Northern are on sale for $4.12 at my Walmart- I plan to buy 4 at $4.12- use the $1 coupons HERE- I will pay $12.48 and get a $5 rebate! That is a great price to seriously stock up on tp. The $15 rebate will be counted before coupons and it doesn’t need to be on one receipt.
.
Send receipts, name and address to:

You can also send in your receipt confirming purchase of any M&M’s Brand Premium Chocolates (6oz or larger) from 10/12-11/15 and receive a lucite candy dish from Real Simple (pg. 133)
I just saw these on clearance at Walgreens.

If we don't have the Real Simple Mag., could we still buy the Quilted Northern and submit for $5 Rebate from Real Simple? Thanks

Charlene October 10, 2009 at 3:18 PM

Yes you can- just follow the instructions and send to the address provided. There is nothing required from Real Simple.

I found 9 big/double roll packs of Quilted Northern at my Walgreens for $4!

Where did you see the "Spend $15 in participating products from 10/12-11/15 and get a $5 rebate from Real Simple"? The rebate program I saw was purchase $20 participating products at Target and get $5 Target gift card between 9/4-10/22. I wonder if Real Simple magazines have different versions depending on the region. The magazine I saw is in California. The list of the $20 participating products were:

Advil PM
Baby Einstein World Animal Adventure DVD
Jergens Sensitive Skin Relief
Lipton Green Tea
Everpure Color Care Regimen
Downy Simple Pleasures
Frebreze Home Collection Flameless Luminary
Head & Shoulders
Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies
Ragu old World Style Margherita Pasta Sauce
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Iams with Prebiotics
Olay Complete Ageless
Olay Professional Pro-X
UP & UP Paper Towels
Real Simple Magnetic Dry Erase Reminder Boards

I am in CA as well. Are you looking at the brand new issue that just came out that I have pictured?

Anonymous October 12, 2009 at 11:31 AM

Humm no, the issue I am reading looks different from the one you have pictured. I guess that's why…

Does anyone have info for the rebate the anonymous person posted spend $20 get $5?

Charlene October 14, 2009 at 9:39 AM
Jenna October 17, 2009 at 3:17 PM

so it is Target only…it says send us your Targer recipt of $20 purchase of the following products?

Charlene October 17, 2009 at 3:21 PM

Jenna there are two totally different rebates from two different issues of Real Simple. I did not post the Target rebate. The rebate I posted is from the issue that is pictured above and it says nothing about Target anywhere.

Jenna October 17, 2009 at 4:34 PM

Sorry- when I went to the link you posted a few comments back from slickdeals- I didn't realize you were answering someone's Q about the $5 rebate w/ $20 Target purchase. I thought it was the info on the rebate you first posted. Thanks for clarifying!

Anonymous October 19, 2009 at 1:47 PM

Does the $15 need to be all on one recepit? or can it be a few diffrent ones?

Thanks..

Charlene October 19, 2009 at 1:53 PM

I posted exactly what the rebate offer stated and it does not say anything about buying everything in one transaction- so you should be fine with multiple receipts.

Anonymous October 20, 2009 at 12:47 PM

Is this $5 rebate with $15 purchase of participating products is limited to 1 per household? Does it specify?

Charlene October 20, 2009 at 12:49 PM

It does say limit of 1 per household. You can see the actual rebate offer- I added a link in the post above.

Should we include a note/index card noting what your name and address? or they can go by the name & address on the envelop you sent to?

Charlene October 21, 2009 at 11:32 AM

You should always include a little card with your name and address in rebates. I bet they toss it otherwise.

Anonymous October 22, 2009 at 11:12 AM

Oh no, I forgot to include a little card with my name and address, do you think I can send more receipts again?
