ecostore

I love the idea of environmentally friendly and non toxic products.  I buy them as often as I possibly can and I was excited to have the opportunity to try a few products from ecostoreUSA.  Their tagline: “No Nasty Chemicals” sums up the company’s philosophy.  They make plant based products for personal care, children and household cleaning.  The products can be found on their web site or in Meijer stores nationwide.  I always wonder if ecofriendly products are as effective as regular products.  So I decided to try the Pure Oxygen Whitener and the Baby Shampoo.  It was tough to decide on two since the products all sound delicious- like Lemongrass soaps and Rosemary Orange shampoo.

I gave the baby shampoo a whirl on Maya- she has senstive skin so I was looking forward to trying something all natural.  The shampoo smelled wonderful- just a little like eucalyptus and lathered nicely.   The shampoo is a little pricey but we only used a tiny bit so it should last a long time.

I was suspicious of the whitener- I have never used one before and I don’t like to use bleach on things.  We have white towels that I use for everything in the kitchen and they are starting to look seriously dingy.  Maya’s clothes also get really stained from her formula and laundry detergent doesn’t get the stains out.  I tried the whitener on a shirt after Maya had been chewing on frozen bananas.  It was in a very sorry state.  The whitener did a really good job of making the shirt look clean again.  I just mixed it in with laundry soap and added it to the machine- simple.  The shirt didn’t come out perfectly white but I think if I follow the instructions and let it soak overnight it might do the trick.  The whitener did a really great job though with just a quick wash and the colors on the shirt stayed nice and bright.  I only sprinkled a little bit so the container should also last for a very long time.

ecostore has agreed to let you try their products as well!  One reader will get a $25 gift certificate to ecostore to choose whatever you like!   Shipping is free on orders of $25 or more-so you should be able to get at least 2 products!

This giveaway will run until Friday at 6pm PST and is open to all US residents.

You have 3 ways to enter- be sure to leave a seperate comment for each entry!

1. Have a look HERE and let me know which two products you would select from ecostore.    The gift certificate is sent via email so include your email address!

2. Sign up for the ecostore newsletter HERE so they can keep you up to date on promotions and new products! (Leave me a comment letting me know you did!)

3. Subscribe to my newsletter or feed (and let me know you did).

Good Luck!

Disclosure: I was provided with two samples for review.  I was not compensated in any way by ecostore and the opinions expressed are my own.

New Expo TV Invite!

10/28/2009

Share

expo tv LG invite

I logged into my Expo account and there was a new invite today for 10,000 points!  What does that mean?  Well 12,000 points is a $100 gift card to Amazon- so about $75-80 in gift cards!

What do you have to do?  Well Expo wants to hear from people that have LG flat screens- if you have one than you can participate in the survey.  You just have to do a quick video about your thoughts on the TV and that is it- $80 in your pocket to a number of retailers- from CVS to Amazon. So if it takes 5 minutes to do your video and 5 minutes to upload- then you just made $75-80 in minutes.  Merry Christmas!

I don’t have an LG which means I miss out on this opportunity but new invites come up all the time!  In fact I am waiting for my free full size Gain Laundry Soap since I was picked to sample it for a Tryology program.

If you still haven’t signed up for the program you can read more about it HERE.  If you are ready to join just click HERE.  Make sure you fill out your profile and look for invitations.   You just register once and you will get invited for both Expo TV (free gift cards!) and Tryology (Free Full Size products!)  Make sure you tell your friends too as you get 25 points if they register!

Thanks For the Mommas!
