I have a special giveaway in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month (which really should be every month!).  General Mills is donating $2 million dollars to the Susan G. Koman foundation and they have also turned the packages of many products pink this month.  To further raise awareness, they have created a web site, PinkTogether.com, where you can send a virual bouqet of flowers or share a story.  Each time someone posts a comment, shares a story or sends a bouquet- General Mills is also donating $1 (up to $20,000).   This ends on October 31st so you need to hurry to participate!

I also have an Inspiring Hope Gift Basket available for one reader.  All of the items are from the shopkoman.com store, where 25% of all proceeds go to the Susan G Koman foundation.   The basket includes:

Welcome to my new home! I am so excited to have made the switch to WordPress and all the great new features the blog will have! All current subscribers should not even notice a difference- if you are not getting the emails/feed please let me know right away! Make sure you bookmark this page as I will no longer be posting on the old blogspot site.

So are you ready for some of the new things I have in store?

#1 You can now print the shopping lists! I have envied this feature for ages on Kate’s blog and now you can just click on the little printer and have an easy shopping list when you plan your trips.  The lists will also have the web site location for any links so you can go back and print your coupons should you forget.

#2 Giveaways will now have a private form. So you don’t have to post your email for the entire world to see. Yeah!

And there is a lot more to come but right now I am busy unpacking as you will soon discover. I am in the process of moving in and transferring everything over. I am also learning how to use WordPress so please let me know if anything looks wonky.

And get ready for my housewarming sitewarming party!  There will be a giveaway a day for the next 10 days to celebrate my lovely new home.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Free Wheat Thins at Target for First Tasters

If you registered for Kraft First Taste when I told you about it HERE, HERE, HERE or HERE- then you may have logged into your account recently and spotted a $2 off any Wheat Thins coupon. (I logged into my account and found it- but they also send an email letting you know it is there.)

I found that Wheat Thins are priced at $2 at Target right now- so I got 2 boxes free last night. I will also hold onto my receipt as these qualify for the $10 rebate when you buy 10 boxes of Nabisco crackers.

If you haven’t registered for First Taste it is a great program. They offer you free products before they hit the market- you get a coupon in the mail for new products- like Deli Creations sandwiches they sent out a few months ago. Personally I have this sent to my primary email account so I don’t miss anything. I have found they only send emails about once a month. You can register HERE now.

You can also register HERE to get a variety of menu planning ideas from Kraft. I love these emails as they always have great ideas for using up all the stuff we get for free!

Target Toy Coupon Book

I mentioned this booklet yesterday and I actually went back to my Target last night to find it for a picture. I got excited about the free Wheat Thins and totally forgot! Anyway, Big Fat Piggy Bank has a picture and detailed all the coupons inside. This book can sometimes be found at Customer Service, in the toy department or they might show up in your newspaper.

Last year I found it in the toy department on a small rack on the side of an endcap. Also these are just now hitting stores so keep checking back!

Land’s End Deals

There are two different promo codes for Land’s End right now. You can only use one code per order- either get free shipping on any item OR get $10 off any regularly priced item and pay shipping.
Personally I think the free shipping is the best deal because they have so many items priced dirt cheap on clearance.

Now if you haven’t signed up for Ebates yet this is a good chance. Remember you do not want to sign up for these cash back programs until you actually make a purchase because you only get the sign up bonus after you buy something.

It only takes a second and the gist of it is that you shop through them (they will direct you right to the site you want-like Lands End) and they keep track of what you buy. Each store has a different cash back amount- Lands End offers 3% back. So you get a $5 bonus when you sign up plus you start accumulating cash back on your purchases. It all goes into an account and you get a rebate check from them quarterly.

So I spotted the little girls tights above for $3.99
If I get free shipping I will pay $3.99 + tax
If I register for Ebates HERE and then type in Lands End and use their link to buy the tights, I will get 3% back. So that is only .12 BUT I got the $5 bonus so it is like I made a $1 profit to buy tights.
