I went to Old Navy this morning to check out the $2 clearance on Halloween items. I was hoping to get lucky and score costumes for next year. Apparently there was a deal for credit card holders to stuff a bag and get 50% this morning. This was for the first 50 per store and people started lining up at my store 2 hours before they opened! The line wrapped around the parking lot! So needless to say the store was pretty picked over. But I did find some little Halloween shirts for the girls for next year for $2- they also have an additional 50% of clearance right now. So I got all these items for roughly $40- including a little winter coat for Maya! I used the 15% off coupon to save even more. I got 5 shirts, 1 winter coat, 2 dresses, tights, a sweater, hoodie, pjs and pants. There was a ton of clearance at my store- but stuff for the kids was going fast. Did anyone else score at Old Navy this morning?
I went this morning and my ON is in a mall that does not open until 10:30 am so we were able to wait inside. I was also just there to snag some Halloween goodies. I was able to get a costume for the baby for this year, nest year and one for the two year old for next year as well. I was also able to get some Halloween shirts for the kids for next year along with some pajamas. I was able to get some Halloween sleep pants in two different styles and t-shirt for me to wear tomorrow as well. Of course, it helped that I was like 6th in line and am not an ON card holder so didn’t have to wait for one of the bags. 🙂
I went this morning b/c I am a cardholder. I got there about 8:40 and there were only 25 or so people in line, so I got the 50% off deal. I got a pair of pants for my 3 year old for 2.49, a few shirts for my boys for 1.74 each, sweater vests for their Christmas outfits for 7.50, a short sleeve polo for my husband for 2.00, and a few things for myself too (yoga pants for 3.37!). The clearance for the kids was way better than for the adults, but I splurged and got some khakis for myself that I’ve been needing for a while.
I didn’t get to my Old Navy until about 1:30 p.m. I thought for sure it would be a wasted trip. I did score a couple Halloween shirts for my boys for next year, a Halloween t-shirt for me and my husband tomorrow. I also got a cute pair of candy corn pj bottoms, all for $9.01 after the 15% off. Thank you so much for the heads up and the coupon!
Everyone and thier mother was at ON this am but i had some time to kill and didnt want to make another trip so got s Halloween shirt for next that my daughter will love for 1.80 with tax so totally worth it for me.
My Old Navy was really crowded too. All the kids costumes were gone, and pretty much everything that we wanted the sizes we needed were sold out. All we ended up with was a pair of candy corn peds that my daughter wanted, for $1.50.
My ON was almost empty. I was shocked! And they didn’t have the Halloween specials marked. So, I grabbed 3 costumes for this and next year (I should have grabbed more), some pj’s, and a couple rompers for my baby all for $12!!!
We didn’t make it to Old Navy til about 3, I almost said forget it they won’t have anything and I am SO glad I didn’t! I had a 20% off coupon, and that was a great match with the additional 50% off clearance! I got me a shirt, my 11 month old needed long sleeve shirts desperately and I got him SIX super cute shirts for about a buck a piece, got the doggy a shirt, got 2 super nice dog dishes for .99 each, got the oldest a halloween tee, and 2 pairs of shorts for the littlest guy for next year, and a few other clearance items and after my coupon I only spent $23 and some change! I love Old Navy clearance sales! Oh and of course there was not a single costume in the store, lol.
We got a ton of stuff from the Clearance racks. Super great deals!!
I went to my ON around 11am and there was a big crowd as well . I did pick up a few things ,I got my son some halloween clearance pajama bottoms for 2 bucks n my moms dog a costume also 2bucks . A shirt for myself and a clearance dress for my niece (xmas present) plus afew odds n ends ,all in all I did pretty well plus I used the 15% off coupon . Thanks agian charlene
I worked at ON this morning and it was crazy! I was at work by 6:45 and we already had a car in the parking lot waiting to get in when our store opened at 10. By 8 we had well over the 50 people in line and people were in line with their infants standing in the cold! I don’t think any deal is so great to risk the health of one’s children! I’m glad you got some great deals, we had no Halloween costumes left at my store even before this morning.
Went to ON at 9:30 a.m. (opened at 9) the line was to the back of the store. There was no costumes left just a few Halloween onesie in tiny sizes. There wasn’t hardly anything left for the little or big girls on clearance. Bummer!
I was going after the $2 Halloween costumes. I couldn’t remember if our store opened at 9 or 10, so I got there at 9:30. There was a small line out front, and I found out about the ON cardholder deal. I didn’t have one, but got a bag anyway and was able to open an account to get 50% off everything. I was like the 30th person in line, and the 1st one to get to the costumes. I got 3 – a butterfly, tiger and monkey all in 4T/5T for $1 each! It’s still warm around here this time of year, so I can’t imagine my kids ever wearing them for anything more than dress up. I’ll make more than $1 off them when I sell them! Clearance was pretty picked over, but I got some shoes for my daughter for $3. Got several things for the kids and a couple for me. Waited in line for over an hour to check out. The cashier said it was worse than Black Friday. They also gave us a $5 gift card for our trouble. =) The 50% off bag is good for the entire day. I hoped to go back later and get some more things after I had time to think about it, but don’t think I’m going to make it. Was a great day! Thanks for telling us about the costumes!
I got to be unlucky # 51 this morning. Can I tell you how much it bites to get a babysitter, wait in line and have the last bag handed to the girl right in front of you. And they only had 2 costumes in 0/6 mths. Needless to say my morning did not start off well…
I work and my husband is a stay at home dad. He hates to shop but went to the sale for me. He had to wait in line with our 5 month old. He was apart of the first 50 at least. No costumes left but, he did get some great deals on clearance for our kids and did quite a bit of shopping for himself (he never shops for himself). He also bought me a coat, jeans and a shirt. Our store wouldn’t let him use a gift card to pay for any of it but, I was able to place an order online this evening, get 30% off, free shipping & use my $50.00 gift card. Great shopping day all around.
I think I will nominate my husband for some Husband of the year award. 🙂 He is the best!
I arrived at our ON about 20 minutes before it opened. I wasn’t able to get one of the 50% off bags, but I feel happy with what I got. Our store had their clearance clothes for everyone 50% off the clearance price plus 30% off with the reusable bag. I was able to get some halloween shirts for my daughter, and also some halloween pants, shirts, and socks for me. The best part was all the clothes that I got for my daughter for next fall and winter. I am so glad that I decided to go.
I got to ON about 10 minutes before it opened, they opened the door and handed me a 50% bag then I went to my car and waited with my 2 boys. It was crowded but not too bad, I ended up getting 26 items for around $40.00 (including 4 mens dress shirts for my hubby) I saved around $250.00!! I didn’t realize the clearance was 50% off and then 50% off that, so I went around the store a few times. I was pretty excited about my haul!! I think I would have bought more if I wan’t dragging around a 2 year old a 5 week old!!
