Does the catalina you get from Haagen Daz, Ragu, or Knorr can only be used for the same product you bought? or it can be used for anything at safeway?

Nope you can use it on anything- with a few restrictions like alcohol. Also you can roll over and over- so you can use the cat to buy the same item again.
Can you roll a Ragu catalina to buy more and another will print? I was already planning to stock up on Ragu so this makes for an even sweeter deal.
Yes you can. Walgreens is the only store with that weird no rolling rule.

I went to Safeway this afternoon and bought the Haagen Daz Pints & used the $1 MQ but no Catalina was given but I had an Ecoupon so I paid $1.50 ea and I got a catalina for $1 off 2 bag of candy that is on sale for $2 WYB 4.
