In case you haven’t noticed October somehow sneaked up and the stores already have Christmas decorations out! It is still 70 degrees where I live so I am not quite in the holiday spirit… yet!

But I think it is time to start planning for the holidays and taking advantage of great sales to make sure you have a debt free holiday season. I typically shop year round and I already have most of our Christmas shopping done. I will be posting a new vlog with a little more about my gift closet later this week.

My family just relocated from Michigan to Florida. It is still ranging in the 90's most days here. So I agree with you about it being hard to get in the holiday spirit.
I look forward to seeing the frugal gift giving ideas. Our Christmas budget is going to be tight and I haven't really started shopping yet.
First of all thank you sooooooo much for all your hard work. It has saved my family so much money. This year I am looking for a ipod nano docking station that has an alarm clock. My girls are 12 and 15 so they are into electronics. Again thanks for all you do.

We are looking forward to a debt free Holiday right along with you! One of the things we are looking for that doesn't ever seem to go on mega-sale are Lego sets for a 5 year old. And boy can these be pricey! Especially the big sets like my son has been waiting to ask a certain big guy in a red suit for. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all of your hard work!

Thank you very much for all of your great deals. I have two little girls- I am looking for strollers for their dolls. My 3 year old wants a double stroller (she saw at pottery barn, but I won't be getting that one!) Also, I just saw that Toy R Us is having a sale on Little Tykes toys. Buy one for $24.99 or more and get one for $24.99 or less free. This seems like a pretty good deal to me to get each of them a toy from "the big guy"
I know this was already mentioned, but LEGOS. I have 3 boys and could spend a fortune on LEGOS!

What a great idea! Thanks so much for all of your hard work. I will be looking for a ride on motorized toy (one of the small ones suitable for a 1 year old). I recently saw them at wal-mart for $69, but wasn't sure if that was a good price.

Leapfrog games, last easter we scored great prices on the games with coupons from leapfrog and coupons.com matched up with kmarts sales on the games. We paid only $10-$12 per game. That deal has never returned and I am hoping just maybe it will for Christmas this year….
