Free Chex Mix at Target

There is a $1/1 Chex Mix coupon for Target stores HERE.
Now you can take this coupon to your store and get the $.99 bags at the check stand free.
.
Kristi emailed to let me know she got 14 of the larger bags free! Here is what she did:
1. She took the Walgreens ad to her store which features the large bags at $1.50 (featured on page 3 of the ad)
2. She used the $1/1 Target coupon and the .50 or $1/2 manufacturer coupons
HERE (two different coupons)
HERE (two different coupons)
HERE (two different coupons)
HERE
and from the 9/13 and 10/4 RP.
.
So a total of 14 manufacturer coupons plus 14 Target coupons.
.
NOTE: I normally don’t like posting these Target price match scenarios because my experience with Target price matching was not a pleasant one. I was told you could not use Target coupons on a price match- also you need to pay full price for the Chex Mix and then go to customer service to get a refund which is a bit of a pain. If you have a better experience or if this scenario works for you please let me know. I’d hate to not bring you deals just because my store is a stinker. Remember you need the actual Walgreens ad not just one page or a print out.

I have not had much luck with price matching either. The 1st try was good. I did the price match at guest services and by passed the register, advoiding paying full price first. (I think that is a hassel and don't understand why we should have to do that.) Anyway, the 2nd try only the varieties pictured (on cereal) would be honored…honey nut cheerios not orignal cheerios…grrr. Then she wanted to send me to the check out then have me come back to guest services. I ended up leaving everything. Apparently the people who make these crazy rules have not had to stand in multiple check out lines with a 2 year old. I just assume take my target coupon somewhere (like CVS which will take them at my location) instead of dealing with Target. I miss the Target deals, but am sooo tired of the hassel that shopping at Target has become…….sorry just venting. ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks for all the great deals!!! I stop by your site everyday at least twice. ๐Ÿ™‚

I haven't tried this with chex mix, but I did it with peanut butter and Fiber plus bars. I was successful at two different targets, and even go the $5 gift card for the bars. I simply took my purchase, my coupons, and the actual competitors ad to costumer service and they rang me up there. It was very smooth.

This won't work at my target either because they won't pm a 2/$3 sale because it's considered a bundle price. I tried to pm some juice last week only to be let down. I'm starting to have a "well what *do* you price match" attitude about their policy.

Charlene, I haven't had any luck with Target price matching either and it seems like too much trouble to save only $.49 per bag. I love shopping at Target and I love stacking coupons (mfg and store) but their price matching policy needs some work! ๐Ÿ™‚

I have one "good" target near me and one "bad" target. The 'bad' one is much closer :o( I have not been happy trying to price match anything but I still keep at it as it is one of the ways I am able to have treats like Chex mix in the house. My budget of $25 for ALL shopping doesn't go too far.
