    Love the rebate idea here!
    My solution:
    3 packs Quilted Northern $6.99 ea 20.97
    2 boxes Kashi 2 for $6
    Total 26.97
    5/25 CVS coupon
    Vocalpoint $3 off Kashi x2(they sent 2)
    4 $1 off Quilted Northern coupons (Bricks & Coupons.com)
My CVS has taken more than 1 manufacturer's Q for items in the past.
$1 for using Discover card Q
    $7 ECBs from previous purchases
    Total before tax: 3.97
Then submit for $5 rebate (tax drives it up to $5.60)
    Hooray, Hooray!

    Hey Charlene,

    I have some terrible news.

I was just at CVS and was informed the coupon policy has changed. If you buy a product that produces an ECB a portion of the coupon is deducted from the total.

For instance, I bought 3 mens Gillette deodorants $5.49 each with a $2 off (total $6 off)so at $16.47 spent on Gillette it should have generated the $5 ECB it did not it said total $10.48 with $4.52 to receive ECB.

I talked to a manager and was told in fact this was a new policy and they have nothing in writing about it yet.

    Just a heads up.
