I want to preface this by saying this review is highly biased. You see I have a desperate crush on Harry. Harry and I go way back, I have had my favorite CD- Harry for the Holidays– for years now. In fact, my relationship with Harry started before I met my husband. Harry has caused many an argument around this house because I usually dig Harry for the Holidays out around mid October and play it nonstop until my husband hides it from me.

So I was very excited to get a copy of his new CD: Your Songs. I have had it in my car for a week or so and I have to say it is really good. This CD is a cover of a bunch of classic songs so I have been happily singing duets with my darling Harry. In fact, one of the songs on the CD is Your Song by Elton John- which just so happens to be my favorite song of all time! (So you see he and I really have a connection).

The CD is pretty mellow and Harry is as smooth as ever. You can get a sampling of the songs on Amazon right HERE. I can totally envision playing this CD at a dinner party or when you are relaxing in the evening.

don't really have a favorite song…but i do love his christmas cd.
I love Mona Lisa. I am a fan of Harry, and a fan of Nat "king" Cole and I have to say that Harry can compete with Nat on that song.
They all sound great, but I am partial to The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face.

I think I like the way you look tonight best. I love his version of "Street Where You Live" from my Fair Lady. I listen to both of his Christmas CD's nonstop while I make insane amounts of X-Mas cookies.

I love "Close to You". It brings back such memories when I was in high school and the Carpenters were very popular. I love Harry Connick and all of the songs sound great. I would love to win this one.

My husband and I are both absolute crazy Connick fans. I honestly don't think I could pick a favorite. I love the one about the Man in the Moon and the Girl in the World, my husband always sings it (my hubby is quite the tenor). I also love "She" and "Come By Me". Ooh I could go on and on!

Ok now I am going to have to admit that I have never even heard of Harry before, but after reading your review & all the various comments, not only do I want to hear this whole cd but i would love to get my hands on that Christmas one too. I have seen Harry in concert twice and he is always my favorite! The new CD sounds awesome and they are all my favorite, but if I have to pick one I like "Your Song".
I heart harry too. I think on this album my favorite song is "The way you look tonight."
I love Harry too! Harry for the Holidays is a great CD (one of my holiday faves!) I haven't heard this CD yet but I'm excited to hear that The way you look tonight is on it – this was our first dance song at our wedding 🙂
I love Harry! My mom got me listening to him when I was little. I don't know that I can pick a favorite of these songs. I think I agree with you that "Your Song" is way up there.

I just wanted to say my husband does Harry's plumbing on his house so I'll have him say hello for you next time he sees him! Poor Harry, my husband had no idea who he was and when Harry asked he said oh aren't you from the car commercials:). But he is very nice in real life and he is very talented!
i also adore harry! ever since i was 10 and "She" came out. My fave song is (I Could Only) Whisper Your Name. I love love love him! And his Christmas albums are the best!! Thanks for the opportunity!
