Is it just me, or does this seem like a really strange rebate?
Nonetheless, I am so on it! Thanks!
So you just buy any ONE of these products and they will send you a $5 gift card?
Seems too good to be true.
Great deal – but I wish I had that 'booklet' to see if there are specific 'sizes' that we have to buy of the participating products. Do you know if the mag is out on racks now so that we can refer to it at the store?
I got my People magazine that has the rebate in it last week, so I think it's not in the stores anymore. It doesn't specify sizes or amounts on the rebate, so I just bought one bag of Pepperidge Farm cookies and sent it in for the rebate.
I double checked this today- this issue was at my CVS it has Elizabeth Smart on the cover. There are no sizes listed just the items above. Also it does have coupons in the issue for $1 off Pepperidge etc.. It is a weird rebate but considering Alpo is about .80/can I think I am going to risk it to try for a free ice cream ๐
Do you supposed to send a note saying what your name and address is? Like the Real Simple Rebate, you are supposed to send a index card with your name and address, or else how do they know who and where to mail to? I guess they can mail to the name & address on the envelop you sent to?
Do you have to cut out the product UPC and submit along with the receipt? or the original receipt is good enough?
Unless the rebate specially states you need the UPC you do not have to include it. Since I posted exactly what the rebate form said- which was receipt only- you do not need to include it. Just follow the instructions I posted and you should be fine.
