Also, I noticed this promotion is running at Starbucks stores inside Safeway stores through 9/30. You don’t need a Starbucks card- just a Safeway card. I believe it was only good for a Pumpkin Spice Latte but if you plan to buy coffee anyway get your free drink by buying it through Starbucks!

I'm not sure if you've mentioned it, but on a couple of the Starbucks bags of coffee that I've bought at Safeway, there is a note that says if you bring in the empty bag, you get a free cup of coffee! Don't throw those empty bags away!
Good luck. I love Bux, bought coffee from them with my card, asked for my free cup and they were dumbfounded. I also did not get a coupon for my free birthday drink.
Melly- did you email Starbucks about the birthday club? It is posted on the web site now so they should certainly honor it!
You also get your syrups (vanilla, hazelnut, etc) & milk upgrades (soy, breve) free of charge if using your registered card to pay for your transaction. Keep in mind you need a balance on your card to cover the full cost of the transaction to get your discount. **Mocha, white chocolate mocha, chai, and pumpkin spice do NOT count as "syrups". With syrups around $.40 and soy/breve around $.70, this can be a huge discount!! Venti vanilla soy latte drinkers rejoice!
