Safeway $2.70
You guys ask me how to get deals on produce all the time and this is a great example- using overage to pay for produce. Remember the Joint Juice deal? Well in a nut shell every 7 bottles I purchase I make a profit of about $4.50. So I hit Safeway today to grab the loss leaders in this week’s ad.
Tomatoes .81
2 bagged salad $1 each
Corn 4/$2
Bananas $1.06 for 5 lbs!! (These were on sale for .42 this week and I grabbed a markdown bag and got them for .20/lb!)
Starbucks Coffee $2- used $1 coupon
7 Joint Juice- $10.43
Total was $17.70, I used the $5 coupon for Joint Juice I got last time, and the $10 catalina I got last time. I paid $2.70 and got another $10 to spend on my next transaction. So I will probably donate the Joint Juice to a senior center. Even though I don’t need it- I bought it for the overage which I can use on items I do need.

I used a $4 off fridge toy printable from Leapfrog and (2) $5 catalinas I got HERE.
Total was .11 after tax for the fridge toy and $4.98 for the counting pal!

Dawn Hand Renewal $1- used $1 coupon
Viologe Conditioner $1.99- used $2 coupon
Also used a $5/25 coupon and $3 in ECBs
Total was $13.64 but I got $10 in ECB for next time!
Where can I find Joint Juice in Safeway? I have looked everywhere in the store but I can't find it.

Can you tell me where the joint juice deal is posted? My Safeway didn't know anything about it and they were out of stock on all, but would give me a gift card for when I purchase it if I can show them where it is. Thank you for all you do. Your savings are great!
It is not posted anywhere. The only announcement would be a catalina ticker that some people got randomly. If they are out you still have awahile to do this deal- I think it runs through Oct 3rd or something.

It is in the water area- with Gatorades and such. Mine was wiped out today but I spotted a box waiting to be stocked up above and they got it down for me. Just ask and they can see if they carry it.
Sad! I tried this last night with the b1g1 free Qs, and no catalina (I bought 4). Went back tonight and bought 7 and still nothing…tried 2 different registers! SO frustrating! I think I have done about a dozen of these catalina deals and twice it has printed out! They are like ghosts!! Usually the store is great about printing it on another register or giving cash or whatever they can do, but this time Safeway had nothing but my word to go by, which wasn't enough! 🙂 I will try again another day!

Charlene I did this today at a store by where I work and it worked like a charm even the cashier was excited I got the 7 bottles and 3.8 lbs of tomatoes for .64 cents after the catalina I went to my regular store on the way home and they where out so I'll try at lunch time tomorrow.
