OK I called Catalina this morning because my cat didn’t print last night for the Free Capri Sun. Here is the scoop: the Nature Valley Clusters are 5oz and the ad states FREE Capri Sun with “Nature Valley purchase 7.2-9 oz” so the Clusters should be the only item that won’t trigger the catalina. Now I am not complaining since I got them totally free but I will make another trip to try the cereal and granola bars and see how that works out. Here is my plan:

If you are hitting Safeway I would double check the sizes on everything with the front of the ad just to be super sure.

That makes sense to me about the cat because last night I did 3 of the promos in one transaction, but only 1 cat printed. This is what I bought:
2 coco puffs cereal
3 granola bars
7 nut clusters
I had a coupon for each item, ecoupons, safeway doubler & .50 safeway cat and paid .80!!
Just a quick question: I am curious how you are doing this deal more than once when we can only load the e-coupons once. Is that right, or is there a way to get more of the e-coupons once you use them? Just wondering since I did it once yesterday and all the e-coupons came off automatically. It was a great deal, I got the Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Nature Valley Granola bars, and fruit snacks all free plus .65 profit. (not to mention the Capri Sun!) Also, at my Vons in Central Cal. the Clusters didn't appear to be a part of the promo. They were tagged differently, just said $4/10, didn't have the buy more save more tag. Hi Amy, I don't think you can do it more than once. New e-coupons just came out and they won't be out again in time to reload. I am going to play with different products to see if you can work the scenarios. Like you could do the Trix and fruit snacks still.
I bought the 4 Nature Valley Nut Clusters yesterday and got out to my car and remembered about the catalina. So I went back in to the service desk, showed them my receipt and the ad, and they let me go get a capri sun and rang it up like an instore coupon.
Didn't realize about the exception, but Tom Thumb (Safeway) was really accommodating!
I bought 8 boxes of granola bars and 8 bags of the clusters (2 transactions @ 2 different Safeways) and I didn't get any catalina coupons. Safeway was very accomodating and I did get the 4 free boxes of Capri Sun … but now I know why the catalinas didnt print!
I bought 4 bags of the clusters and my safeway (mid-atlantic region) paid me after paper and e-coupons, but no Catalina..
I then bought in a separate transaction, 4 boxes of cereal. I had coupons for all 4, paid very little, and got the Catalina for the free Capri-Sun.

Are you sure it will accept the paper if it accepted the e-coupon.
I thought one manufacturers coupon per item.

Does anyone have the phone number to the catalina company? I bought two boxes of coco puffs, 1 box of trix, 1 box of granola bar, and 1 bag of nut cluster but no catalina for free capri sun. Where did I go wrong? I was afraid to ask the cashier as he was upset that I had that many coupons and wanted to refuse them. Any suggestions?

I bought 3 nut clusters & 1 coco puffs on Fri using multiple coupons & e coupons..ended up with a $2+ overage & no catalina.
Last night I sent hubby in for 4 more bags of nut clusters with coupons & 1 e coupons. Paid nothing for them & a catalina printed out.
Wonder if it printed because there wasn't an overage? Or maybe they fixed it, so the nut clusters would trigger a catalina as well??
Anyone else have this work for them?
I also would like to know if you can combine e-coupons with paper coupons??? I want to do the nature valley deal and I have a ton of paper coupons for the granola bars, but if I use my club card, that has e-coupons loaded on it for the same product, wont it decline my paper coupons??
no. it will not decline them.
When does this promo end?
Safeway sales run Wed-Tues so today is the last day. Other stores under the Safeway umbrella have different sale dates like Dominicks. Check your local circular to be sure- it will say at the very bottom what the dates are.
