I just wanted to give you a heads up…
After today's adventures in dealing with the 5 for under $5, I finally called their customer service.
I set my outlook calendar to remind me at 10.00 (EST, they are CST at 9.00) to go to their site. To my absolute delight, they had a plus size santa costume, which is what I actually WANTED to find.
I hurried along and put in my address and credit card information (I had it ready, and sitting on my desk.) There is a silly bit of the order process where you have to have your credit card verified, and I waited patiently as it did so.
After my card was verified, a message popped up that said "We're sorry. This costume is no longer in stock." Yes – in the time it took to verify my card, they had all sold out.
When I called customer service, I was told that some of their costumes have as little as a quantity of 5. Yes – FIVE, because these were discontinued costumes which they were just trying to clear out of their warehouse.
I still think it's a great deal, but people who are looking to get a costume at a later date may want to see if they can verify their card early, so they don't lose a costume doing so.
