I was told this morning at my local Rite Aid that I cannot use internet coupons unless they have the Rite Aid logo on it, so I was not able to use my General Mills, Energy Smart or the Scotch pop-up coupon. The Rite Aid site does not have these coupons either.

    Hi Anon,

That is a shame. It seems like every Rite Aid determines their own policy- corporate policy is to take internet printables. You can still get the Scotch by using th $1 coupon in the SS inserts today. Also, I had a special GM insert in my paper with a few cereal coupons.

I went to rite aid the other day. I have (2) $2/1 and (1) $3/1 coupon. They said that the total of all my IPs cannot be higher than $5. They pointed at the rite aid policy. Is this true? Do you have the copy of the rite aid coupon policy?

I wish I did. I have tried to get it a few times in the past and have never been able to. Like I said before it just seems like each location makes their own arbitrary rules. If you have another store in your area you might try to shop elsewhere. I actually go across town to a coupon friendly store. I guess you could try to do multiple transactions but then you miss out on maximizing the $5/25 coupon.

Has anyone else seen an actual policy in print?

My local Rite Aid has the policy posted as well on blue signs right on the side of the cash registers. It states no more then $5 in internet coupons.
