Kmart also has a toy coupon good through 8/31 for $5 off a $20 purchase HERE.
I went to check this out at my store and found the Trio toys priced at $4.99, $9.99, $12.29 and $24.99. I was told that price reflected the instant discount. The selection HERE was pretty much what I had to chose from and the prices are the same.
So here is what I did:
I bought one toy at $12.29 and one at $9.99- subtotal $22.28. I used the $5/20 coupon first, then (2) $5 off Trio coupons. The final total after coupons and tax was $8.71.
My store had a very limited selection of these toys but if your store carries a wider selection you might be able to get a better deal. Also I just noticed the Fisher Price coupons state $10 or more so the $9.99 toys don’t work for the coupon. This was a pretty good deal though and the sale runs through September 14th.
Apparently some areas have toys priced at $10.50- people have purchased (2) for $21.00- gotten a $10 instant discount at the register, used a $5 off $20 coupon and a $5 Fisher Price coupon and paid just $1 for both toys! That was not how it worked at my store but maybe you’ll get lucky!
Another Idea would be:
Buy 1 toy at $12.24
Buy (2) Transformers RPM Mini Vehicles $3.99 each
Subtotal $20.22
Use $5/20 Kmart coupon
Use Buy One Get One Transformers coupon HERE
Use $5 off Trio coupon
Total is $6.23 for all three toys!
I also had a look at Leapfrog items to utilize THESE coupons in conjunction with the $5/20 Kmart coupon.
I found a huge selection of Leapfrog Tag and Tag Jr books on clearance for $10.
They had Tag Jr books regularly priced at $11.79-14.99.
So buy 1 clearance book at $10

I bought 2 toys for $9.99, then 2 of the Transformers RPM mini wehicles. I used the $5/$20 toy purchase coupon, 2 $5 Trio coupons, plus the B1G1 coupon for the transformer toys. I paid just over $10 for all 4 items!
It keeps telling me I need to download the coupon printer and we follow the instructions and it still is not working! Really good use a good deal on toys for bdays, christmas, etc. If anyone can help that would be super!
I was reading the $5/$20 coupon, and it says it can't be used with any other coupon for the same item, or with BOGO items. I'm new to this. Do you just have to hope that your cashier doesn't read the fine print?
I was able to use the 5/20 coupon along with 2 $5 trio coupons…got 2 sets of Trio toys (originally $31) for $6.94. No trouble with the cashier, though it might happen. The register took the coupons without incident…I gave her the 5/20 first, then the two $5 coupons. I think I'm going back tonight for more! Holidays are only 4 months away, and with 10 nieces and nephews to buy for, this is a terrific bargain!
today I tried the 19.99 set and the 4.99 set…the $5 came off automatically, she scanned the trio Q (i thought we could only use one) and then it wouldn't accept the 5/20…cashier cited the 'cannot be combined with other coupon' fine print. Bah.
I have been to Kmart twice in the last week and they refused to let me use my coupons. The last time I was trying to buy the transformer shoes and use the coupon and they said it was already taken off of the price. I walked out and left my complete order. I am not impressed with Kmart at all. Their prices are not that good without coupons and they are not coupon friendly at all.
I just found your site yesterday- I have 3 boys on a tight budget- I signed up for fisher price and got 20 $5 coupons before it said my limit was reached- then I printed out 10 of the $5 off $20 of toys. My usual breakdown was this. Two orginal priced $12.99 Trios, and a $9.99 Trio. Instant $5 off took the total to $20.97- then with 2 Trio coupons, and the $5 off $20 (which the 3rd trio qualified for as the item not combined with other coupons.) I paid $6.33 total for $35.97 of toys! Ran out of $12.99 ones and ended up getting some $14.99 ones instead. My breakdown there was 2 $14.99 Trios and a $1 Matchbox car- still paid $6.34 for $30.98 of toys. Awesome deal in all I ended up paying $63.36 for $334.75 of toys! Thanks so much!
