CVSers! .50 Coke 12pks to go with your Chips!

Those of us that are new to CVS (me!) might not know that they accept competitor’s coupons. So print 2 copies of the coupon I told you about HERE for $2 off a 12pk of Coke at Rite Aid.

At CVS Coke 12 pks are on sale $4/13 with a $3 ECB when you buy 4.
So buy 4 at $13
Use (2) coupons for $2 off
Pay $9.00 and get $3 ECBs for a net of $1.50 per 12pk.

If you can print 4 coupons- by using 2 computers- you can score the 12pks for $.50 each after coupon and ECB! (Thanks Deal Seeking Mom)

Here’s a simple scenario using the $4/20 Autofill coupon
Buy 4 12 pks at $13
Buy 2 Baked Lays at $3 each
Buy 2 Sharpie Highlighter at .99
Subtotal $20.98

Use $4/20 autofill coupon
Use (2) $1 CVS printables for Lay’s
Use (2) printables for Lays or coupon from August All You
Use (2) Sharpie coupons for $1 off
Pay $10.98 and get $3 back in ECBS for a net of $7.98 for (4) 12pks and 2 chips.

If you can print extra coupons you will pay $6.98 and get $3 back for a net of $3.98!
**You might call to verify your store accepts competitors coupons before heading out.

Will this work for me if I don't have rite aid in my area?

I think those planning on using the Rite Aid coupons need to call their CVS to make sure they will take them. We happen to live near 2 CVS stores, and one store will not take them..the other store said it is 'not their policy' but they will take it as a 'good customer service measure'. (I live in Sacramento area).

Anon, I wouldn't think so. I guess you might get lucky- but with price matching and competitor coupons it typically needs to be a store in the area.

cjs- I noted that people should call ahead but I put it in bold this morning. If you are headed to Rocklin/Roseville in the future check those stores out. I called 2 yesterday and they said no problem. I hate these great soda deals though as with CRV for Californians it always winds up being so much more expensive.

I follow your blog because you are local — I live in Citrus Heights. I checked w/2 CVS so far, Foothills and Pleasant Grove and they both said NO to the competitor coupons — only on prescriptions. Which ones told you okay? I got an email for $5 off $25, so with the candy ECB and this coke special, I could score some cheap goodies. Thanks. dicity

(The coke deal is on the little half page wrap sheet cjs — I had trouble finding it too.)
