This is very OT, but remember next week's L'Oreal nail polish deal at Rite Aid you posted about earlier (thanks, BTW – I printed 4 coupons in anticipation)? I have only recently started doing RA rebates, so I'm not quite sure if this would work, but do you think the nail polishes would count towards rebate #156 – L'Oreal Purchase Thirteen Dollars ($13.00) Worth of Any Variety:
    • Hair, Cosmetic or Skin Care Products, get $5.00? Is nail polish a cosmetic product? I would say yes, but I don't know if RA would. Do you have any past experience that could clarify this issue for me?

If the nail polish does, indeed, count, then it could be a nice moneymaker: buy 4 nail polishes $2.99 each and use 4 $1 printables, plus buy two L'Oreal Kids shampoos that are BOGO next week (those should be around $3.50-$3.70) and use two $.75 off L'Oreal Kids product from 6/28 RP. Pay around $10. Get $8 SCR for the nail polish and $5 SCR for rebate #156. It would be a $3 (or almost $3) MM.

Of course, I'm not so sure even the Kids shampoo would work since it's not in the picture on the rebate website… but it is a hair product. Do you think this scenario would work? I just feel very squeamish about returning stuff after using the $5/$25 coupon, and I don't want to end up paying for that shampoo which I need like a hole in the head.

CM that is genius and I totally missed it. Let me play with it because the shampoo and the polish should work. Nail polish for sure and I am iffy on the kids shampoo. Working on RA as we speak- it is a LOOOONNGG list- so check back tomorrow.

Thanks! I'm excited for next week! Going to get the Schick razors, too – I need about $11 more to finish off the KC gift card, and then it would still be a moneymaker, albeit not nearly as good as you have outlined. But at least I got some free TP and paper towels.
