The catalina company is AWESOME and with a quick phone call they will send the catalina out in the mail. I just did this a few months ago and it was just a few days before I had the catalina coupon in my hands. You need your receipt when you call so they can look up the transaction.

How much is California's CRV tax?
Anon- It is horrific actually. It is .10 on glass and plastic and .05 on cans. I think bottles of water are .05 each-we don't buy bottled water so I might be wrong- so that adds $1.20 to each pack of water in this scenario. You can get your money back but in my area I have to go to the nastiest recycle center ever and it just isn't worth the bother or the diseases I subject myself to.
